John Feeney

John Feeney is an experienced audio engineer with a passion for Punk, Metal, and Rock music production. Born and raised playing in many Punk, Rock and Ska bands he was introduced to music at a young age, which fueled his interest in the technical aspects of music production.

John started his career as a sound engineer attending the Conservatory of Recording Arts and Sciences, and then later hired on at one of Hollywood's finest 5 star studios, Glenwood Place. Here he gained experience working with different genres of music, mainly in the Rock and Hip Hop realms.

 

His talent and dedication soon caught the attention of punk, metal, and rock bands, and he began to specialize in those genres after starting his own studio "American't Records".

Over the past 15 years, John has honed his skills in recording, mixing, and mastering heavier genres of music. He has worked with a wide range of artists and bands, from up-and-coming underground acts to established household names in the industry.

John's extensive experience has enabled him to develop a keen ear for identifying the unique sound of each band he works with. He understands the importance of capturing the raw energy and power of these heavier genres in his recordings, while still maintaining the clarity and balance necessary for a polished final product.
